Progress Group was formed in the early
80’s, initially to provide management services and Central
warehousing for Shoreheat. ProServe became an important part of the
Group in the mid-90’s, to meet the growing need for a supply vehicle
for stockists and merchants.
Our vision is to supply a total solution to differing market
sections within the heating and ventilating sectors. Shoreheat
supplies to trade, local authorities, British Gas, Area Health
Trusts and the general public, whilst ProServe specifically supplies
the reseller market.
The Group has 95 employees in 19 different UK locations, with its
Head Office and Central Warehouse in Fairford, Gloucestershire. The
Group companies have developed a name for excellence in supply
whilst remaining totally independent of any manufacturer. This means
that an even-handed approach is applied and products sold on merit.
In the year 2000 “Pro-Active IT Solutions” was formed, initially to
develop database related software for use within the Group, this is
now reaching the completion of a fully developed inventory and
supply chain management tool, which is attracting considerable
interest from third parties. Software has been developed for a “blue
chip” company who is currently conducting Beta testing of a very
innovative solution. |
